Job Description Downing, a leading provider of US-manufactured wellheads, frac stacks, and production trees, is seeking a Business Development person for its Permian sales team. This position will be based in Midland, TX and will report to the VP, Business Development. As part of a basin-focused sales team, the Business Development role is responsible for the sale of wellhead and rental equipment to new and existing customers within their assigned territory. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities · Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products · Penetrate targeted accounts · Overcome objections of prospective customers · Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales reports. · Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth. · Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold-calling if necessary. · Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory/customers in a time-efficient manner. · Use marketing data to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness. · Maintain accurate records including reports, including but not limited to, weekly expense reports, sales reports, CRM data, etc. · Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients. · Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services by monitoring competition through the gathering of current marketplace information on pricing, products, competitor activities, and other research. Essential Qualifications / Requirements · Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related field preferred; or equivalent of three years' experience in progressively responsible sales position · Basic knowledge of wellhead equipment is preferred · Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas · Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance. · Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management. · Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers. · Exceptional verbal communication, presentation and listening skills. · Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm. · High level of integrity and work ethic. · Must be organized and possess good time management skills. · Strong verbal and written communication · Knowledge of basic office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Suite Company Description Downing Wellhead Equipment, LLC is a 36-year old company with deep roots and robust operations in the oil and gas basins of the United States.
