Job Description As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, Facility Solutions Group is expanding their staff and seeking a Lighting Project Manager to join the FSG Utility Services Los Angeles, CA team. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Lighting Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects totaling 5-10M with the expectation of completing on time and within the established budget. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate goals and progress with internal and external clients effectively. We are seeking candidates with experience in the lighting industry who are self-motivated, detailed oriented and highly organized to join our team. A Lighting Project Manager will: · Ensure projects are installed on time and within the scope of work and budget · Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and report status of projects on a daily basis · Manage relationships with customers and subcontractors performing installations · Coordinate with Sales Team to determine best course of action for recommendation or application issues · Place material orders once scope of work is verified · Secure necessary documents and information from customers and subcontractors · Generate estimates involving material and equipment outside of the normal scope of work · Work closely with projects team including coordinators, other Project Managers and other key personnel to successfully complete project. · Have a minimum of 5 years experience in project management · Have a skilled level of electrical knowledge · Review purchase orders, billing and pricing on accounts for accuracy. · Communicate progress, issues and status of project with sales, architects, contractors, clients and team members. · Ability to negotiate electrical sub-contractor pricing. · All applicants must have strong communications skills. · Update and maintain all systems required, internal and external · Act professionally and ethically at all times JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications: · Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required · Minimum of 5 years experience in project management · Valid driver's license · Availability to travel when necessary · Ability to multitask while staying organized · Strong verbal and written communications skills · Positive customer service skills · Proficiency with technology and electronics strongly preferred · Self motivated and driven · Experience and knowledge in lighting and electrical WE OFFER Annual Salary/Draw Stable employment Gas Card and EZ Pass Cell Phone Allowance 401K Program with matching contribution component Medical, Dental, and Life benefits PTO Plan Company Description FSG Utility Services Solutions FSG: Dynamic utility services working for the utility and the consumer.
